Tiered Flower Sugar Cookies

Mothers Day sugar cookies are easily made by using different piping tips to create flowers.  The 5 petaled flower is one of the easiest flowers to create.  Just take a star toothed-tip and place tip gently in the center of the cookie and squeeze frosting out while you slow pull up and lift.
Any butter-cream recipe will work for making icing flowers; royal icing works well too, though many people have said they prefer the butter-cream to top their sugar cookies.
